Cancellation of 2001 Dunlop National Rally Championship

Due to the current uncertainty due to the Foot and Mouth situation, the National Rally Championship Committee in association with the Motorsport Sport Commission of Motorsport Ireland are forced to announce the cancellation of the 2001 Dunlop National Stages Championship.

The committee took this decision having considered the cancellation or postponement of six of the ten National Championship rounds.

While it is accepted that some of the events may be re-scheduled, it should be noted that no event will hold National Championship status for 2001.

The committee would like to thank Dunlop and the organising clubs for their co-operation and assistance during this time.
